Your Career

Deciding on a career is probably one of the most daunting decisions we'll ever make and post matric we need the right advice. Tertiary education is so important and it's imperative to seek guidance to ensure that the decisions made are the right ones.

With the use of objective psychometric testing and a character analysis, the counselor at Your Career will assist by guiding the student to a choice of one, two or perhaps three different career paths and the earlier you start the better. Guidance can start at Grade 8, be repeated in Grade 10 and finally in Grade 11. The earlier assessment allows for correct subject choices and grades required for chosen career paths which are of paramount importance for financial, medical or engineering fields. If guidance is left to grade 12, all is not lost, as one can still gain direction.

Not only does Your Career give guidance with regards to the results what the testing indicates, all the aspects of the student is taken into consideration - personality, passions, dislikes and temperament. This is a scientific evaluation that informs the students of the various career paths.

This is an incredibly worthwhile exercise and can potentially save parents the cost of a year lost on the wrong studies. These tests also give confidence, direction and self esteem to help the student achieve their goals.
