An insight into the Helderberg's wine estates
The Helderberg has over 30 wine estates that form part of the Wine Route. These estates vary in what they have to offer, but each will be a wonderful and unique experience.
Lourensford
Founded in 1700, Lourensford is one the of the oldest estates in the Helderberg area. This estate offers a range of excellent wines including the premium Lourensford Estate Range, Five Heirs, Eden Crest and Lanzerac. Experience fine dining at The Restaurant at Lourensford, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Vergelegen
Voted Best Winery and New World Winery of the Year, Vergelegen is a must see. Visit this traditional winery where the old meets the new and experience their award winning wines. Dine at the Lady Philips Restaurant or picnic in the camphor forest.

Dellrust

Ken Forrester
This estate, produces a variety of quality wines including the Grenache / Syrah which is unique in South Africa. The restaurant on the estate, 96 Winery Rd, is a favourite among all in the area.
