In the Mid-1980's

Two friends jumped into a small plane and made the hop from the main island of Hawaii to Maui. Maui was not the resort laden Mecca it is now. Then it was mostly sugar cane plantations and some sparse pockets of population.

This trip was to be their glorious and illustrious launch into business. As they set-up for their first seminar they expected to soon see throngs of people ready to sign up for their program. Unfortunately, they were met by only two participants...and one of whom was in the wrong place. The two partners quickly did the math and realised that they would have been better off to pay the two attendees to stay home.

The next morning the two men raced their cramped rental car along the side roads of sugar cane plantations. They were trying desperately to make their return flights on time. They both had to get back for their day jobs.

As they drove down the narrow dirt path, the driver suddenly hit the brakes. He turned to his partner and demanded, "WHAT are we doing?" The other paused then quipped, "We're on a mission, I think." The driver said, "Good enough!" and off they sped to the airport.

Today these same two gentlemen broadcast to millions every year. The two friends were Robert Kiyosaki and Blair Singer.
