Helderberg Nature Reserve
We are fortunate to have a mountain and nature reserve on our doorstop. Enjoy a picnic, lunch at the coffee shop, or follow a hiking trail. See our Bontebok and watch the tortoises lazily mowing our lawns.
Helderberg Wine Route
Somerset West and surrounds has over 30 wine estates that form part of the Helderberg Wine Route. These estates vary in what they have to offer, but each will be a wonderful and unique experience.
Composting with Bokashi
Bokashi is a Japanese term and means "fermented organic matter". The Bokashi will ferment the food waste, preventing it from rotting, and therefore eliminate odour or the attraction of flies.
